| 19650 | 2001-09-30 01:45:00 | After completing virus scan and quarantining infected files I now get message upon start-up that Windows cannot locate CPQLocal.EXE file specified in WIN.INI FILE - content type MIME (opens with notepad)and instructions to remove this file from WIN.INI. Is it safe to do this? | Guest (0) | ||

Its probably refering to the lines RUN= and LOAD= as they are leftovers from win 3.x for starting programs as startup. If you want to be safe, you could put a ';' at the start of the lines to disable them rather than deleteing them. |
