You have to look carefully over your motherboard for a line of numbers and or letters that will identify your board and the manufacturer, then you normally go to their site and download the manual. Some old 486's take a lot of looking for, but I have never found a board yet that I couldn't identify. | 19893 | 2001-10-03 04:51:00 | Look at http://www.wimsbios.com/ Get your BIOS id - the long string of numbers and letters at the bottom of the screen when you first switch on the computer theng go to the relevat section for Award of AMI and you'll be able to ID the manufacturer. |
