19858 2001-10-02 22:40:00 Following a crash secondary to removing a programme via control panel,my Zip100 tape drive is now identified as B Floppy drive. The drive still works if I directly copy data to the drive, but the Iomega software cannot locate it when I want to use the backup programme. I have Windows98 on a Pentium111 with 128 Mb Ram. I have tried adding hardware on My Computer. I had to reinstall Windows98, but only after I got into Safe Mode and discovered the drive was renamed Can you help? Guest (0)
19859 2001-10-03 01:01:00 You can probably go into device manager, under disk drives if the iomega is not listed, then 2 generic floppys probably are, delete them both and boot up again and see if windows can find and reinstall 1 generic floppy for A drive and the Iomega Guest (0)
