| 19956 | 2001-10-03 23:45:00 | Hello, Having installed and then uninstalled programs like Webwasher and Copernic, I am left with links on my Right click drop down menus. Does anyone know how to remove them now that they do not link to programs? Thank you, Martin |

This freeware (legend has, written by MicroSoft themselves) will allow you to simply declare what you want to appear in the Right-Click menu. If you're not on these OS's, then I'd imagine its a registry hack, not simple. |

The following 4 keys are where the Righ-Click menu options are stored for folders, directories, and drives. To remove a right-click context menu item, delete any of the sub-keys that are below these keys. HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shellex\ContextMenuHan dlers HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shellex\ContextMenuHandle rs HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shellex\ContextMenuHandler s |
