I am running a toshiba laptop with win98 second edition and office 97, incorporating outlook. The problem is that on occassion when I send and receive mail (either or, or both) the laptop does not shut down correctly but hangs on the win98 shutdown screen. The laptop also runs norton a/v 7.5 but if I don't use outlook shuts down without any problem. Any ideas? |

Have you installed the Win98SE shutdown patch? if not, search microsoft's homepage for it. This /may/ fix your problem. |
