| 20143 | 2001-10-05 12:17:00 | That kind of noise can occur on cheap motherboards if the OS uses the HLT instruction for idleing (cools the CPU when its not being used). The only OS that doesn't use it is Windows 9x, unless you run something like Rain, or CPUIdle. |
