20498 2001-10-08 01:41:00 My equipment is a P111500 processor with 256 Mb RAM and a Matrox G400TV video card. All other equipment is reasonably standard. My HDD is partitioned and the default OS is Windows ME. I have downloaded IE6 and tried to install it but it 'hangs' at 61% and will go no further.I have also tried to install it from your October disk but I think the original download gets in the way and it reverts to a screen that tells me that I have already partially set IE6 up and do I want to proceed or start from scratch. Questions...is there an obvious approach I should take...am I missing something...should I get rid of the downloaded components in Windows Update Setup File and attempt to start again from the CD or is that dangerous...thaks...Dave Guest (0)
20499 2001-10-08 03:39:00 You can safely delete Windows Update Setup File after setup has completed (or finished after stuffing up). Guest (0)
