| 20659 | 2001-10-09 02:24:00 | Help, Last November I posted this same problem and did'nt get any help. Upon starting a new Word document,whenever I attempt to change the font ,or the size of font the document freezes for about 40 secs .I can't move the scroll bar or even get out of it during that time. This only happens in Word,Works still works like it should. |

| 20660 | 2001-10-09 03:53:00 | If you have a large number of fonts in your computer this can cause this to occur. Use Windows Explorer and open the Windows\Fonts folder. The number of fonts will be listed in the bottom bar of Explorer. If there are less than say 60, this will not be the cause of your problem. HTH |
