| 20782 | 2001-10-09 22:34:00 | I have decided to replace the Pentium II 266 in my Digital pc3500 with a Celeron 500, but it reports at startup as a Pentium Pro 366 and then locks up. If I disable the cache memory in the bios it will run, but very slowly. The motherboard documentation says it will accept up to a 533 chip and I have loaded the most recent bios from Digital. Any suggestions? Thanks. james | Guest (0) | ||
