21004 2001-10-11 02:37:00 Peter, what we were looking at was two separate modems in the one box, we assumed that the 56k would have it's own phone lead to the phone jack while the dsl would have its lead to the DSL jack. Is this what you meant or do you mean that the fax and the dsl can share the same lead. If they are sharing the same lead does Winfax still require the 56k modem? Hope you can clarify this. 21005 2001-10-12 08:34:00 Hi,sorry if I didn't explain myself very well.Yes,you will have a lead from each of the modems.Telecom,or whoever installs the adsl,can fit a double jackpoint(same size as a power point)with 2 jacks,one on top of the other.One will be for the lead from your adsl modem,and the other from your 56K modem.Just make sure you get them marked which is which,as neither will work properly if you plug them in round the wrong way. Hope that clears it up and helps a bit
