| 1257960 | 2012-02-08 01:39:00 | I quite like www.metvuw.com forecast charts, they seem pretty accurate. Metservice can be even more changeable than the weather. | wratterus (105) | ||
| 1257961 | 2012-02-08 03:11:00 | It's a science of best guesses, they can never forecast with 100% accuracy no matter who you try. I find the met service about as good as any other personally. I've long had a theory that the predictions are very accurate as to what will happen but quite inaccurate with the when, for example when heavy rain is predicted it usually arrives but can be up to a day early or late. No science here, just my personal impressions/ observations. |

| 1257965 | 2012-02-08 09:16:00 | I use www.metservice.com . My job involves some travel to different parts of the country and the need for good weather when I get there, and this seven day forcast seems to get it right most of the time | PPp (9511) | ||
| 1257966 | 2012-02-08 09:18:00 | Metvuw I find great as well used in aviation Business until I retired. Metvuw is the best, their models seem to be the most accurate and reflect the real movement of the systems. TV news. Arrrrgh! No way. Ever. Ever. Don't get me started. Then look out the window on the day. Yup! The most accurate. But, it's not a forecast. Cat amongst the pigeons time: Ken Ring (http://www.predictweather.co.nz/) Forget the earthquakes. This guy really does have weather forecasting nailed. Hastily exits stage left, raising forearms to ward off the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune (whatever that means), and inserting earplugs in order not to hear the assembled multitude of angry PF1ers baying for my blood and advocating the removal (painfully, and without my sanction, naturally) of various appendages. |
