2012-02-07 18:39:00 | Interesting that W/8 appears to be nothing more than another Vista. Whatcha think? Microsofts Windows 8 and Vista will have several things in common: Both are unwanted operating system updates that will flop in the marketplace. LINK::: www.zdnet.com

2012-02-07 19:20:00 | Been running the developers release here for a while, I don't think it will be a flop at all. I'd say it's going to end up looking pretty similar to windows 7 on a desktop PC or laptop, but with the metro theme etc, it's going to be a lot better on tablets and phones. I think people are going to be happy to upgrade, because MS are keeping the stuff people like about windows 7, but adding enough useful new features (for example new folder options stuff and a spruced up file copy setup) that it's a worthwhile upgrade. For me the file copy thing alone makes it worthwhile. Only time will tell though. :)

2012-02-07 19:33:00 | Those types of articles make me laugh;) Many people judge an OS even well before its finished. As its been proven many times, functions are either added or removed during testing stages - Which what W8 is in. The final RTM version could and more than likely will be different. Some people wont have the choice if buying name brand PC's it will will come with what ever OS the manufactures install.

2012-02-07 19:39:00 | The only thing I have found better in Win 8 compared to Win 7 is the tool bar in the file explorer . It gives back the copy/paste/cut etc icons again that were removed with Vista.. | paulw (1826) | |
2012-02-07 19:59:00 | I think Win8 is just MS trying to get more sales They will honestly think that the masses will upgrade from xp/Vista/7 to 8 & corporates will upgrade to 8 on existing PC's Win Vista came out, they tried to convince us to just upgrade on existing PC's. Perhaps thats why they made they Vista min spec ridiculously too low. No one wants Windows on there phone/tablet/pad anymore, that boat has sailed.
