| 1257874 | 2012-02-07 04:21:00 | Im over my laptop and want to get a tablet. Wondering if it's worth selling laptop or not. It's an Asus Z53E - core2, 3gig ram, 250gig hard drive, rubbish intel graphics but runs 1440x900 res, very dodgy charger plug which i may or may not have a go at fixing. Big of wear and tear including one bigish scratch on the back cover of the lcd. Has the bigger cell battery so about 4-5 hours on battery. Is it worth anything? Could sell with or without windows (windows 7 pro license) Cheers |

| 1257877 | 2012-02-07 05:39:00 | That's fairly decent battery life for a laptop - what 4 years old? IMO, unless you really need the cash to get whatever flavour of tablet you have your heart set on, it's probably not worth selling.... |

| 1257879 | 2012-02-07 07:02:00 | I sold my Core i5 Toshiba Satellite U500, 18 months old, cost $2000 new for $500 on Trademe recently. So no, secondhand laptops are not worth much. There's just so much better stuff out there brand new for ridiculously low prices... | ryanjames.powell (13554) | ||
