1257164 2012-02-03 08:08:00 Umm...just wondering...how much does a shadow weigh?

This doesn't give a measure of the weight, but the shadow must be a bit weightier than the surroundings just because the unshaded areas are lighter.
At night, you can't see the scales, so the answer would just be a guess.

1257165 2012-02-03 08:17:00 I never laugh at any questions which appear stupid, being the one that does often ask a question that does exactly that. Even if my questions do seem odd, I always appreciate a direct and truthful answer. Hence I will always give an appropriate answer to any questions that are asked of me. Got to admit though, there are still some funny questions asked ay what?

1257167 2012-02-03 10:47:00 A lot of people are frightened to ask stupid questions because they do not want to look stupid. They prefer to wait for someone else to ask the same stupid question. Bobh (5192)

1257171 2012-02-03 18:25:00 While some of the questions people ask may seem silly, I'm really disappointed at some of the replies here.

Now while the question may sound or seem silly to you, they obviously don't know, hence why they are asking. It really pisses me off when people laugh at others questions.
I will bet anything you like that all the people here that have laughed don't know the answer too everything.
.

You'd be right, we don't know everything.

I had a customer yesterday start to tell me his issue - just a simple one he said - and I told him, after he got 3 sentences in- I'd put back through to my colleague he had talked to before as I had no idea about that stuff and my colleague knows far more....he seemed a bit disappointed, but no, I told him he had the worst person in the company for those questions...

Still doesn't mean we can't laugh at some of the questions we get - this is not the new people - I don't mind their questions at all - this from the ones who are supposedly the experienced and the ones who should know....especially when they start to argue with you and in disintegrates into a rant on their part.

It's laugh or cry...

1257173 2012-02-03 19:41:00 Aren't photons massless? So the presence / absence of shadow shouldn't cause any weight difference. Renmoo (66)
