1257363 2012-02-05 21:19:00 I've lost count of how many times I've had that same issue of "tracking number not found"

A quick phone call or email always ends in "the drivers scanner is currently not working"

Had me worried one time when I had a package outside the front door to be picked up by a courier. IT got picked up at about 6pm one night, and I never heard the courier. Checked the tracking number and "no tracking found". Thought it had been stolen but turns out his scanner apparently wasn't working.

1257364 2012-02-05 21:57:00 On the whole I like track and trace. I can see that my parcel has been picked up by courier from ComputerLounge or Elive, usually in late afternoon. If all goes well I can check next morning and see that it has arrived in Invercargill. I know to stay at home till the courier arrives. After it has been delivered it is fascinating to see my scribble of a signature appear on track and trace. My signature is never the same. That device they expect us to write on is horrible.

Courier deliveries on the whole do go well but not always. I do get the occasional delays. I prefer to have delivery by signature only even if I have to go round to the courier depot to pick up the parcel.

1257365 2012-02-06 21:35:00 It all depends what level of tracking.
Dont expect parcel post tracking to be at the same level as a Couriers tracking
It was explained to me that the basic parcelpost tracking only covers when sent from POST Office & when actually delivered, nothing in between (ie almost worthless)

Ive also had many instances of the posties NOT putting the card to call in the letterbox for sig required items (registered post from ebay, HK etc)

1257366 2012-02-06 23:02:00 Yes when I sent my motherboard back to Ascent last year by post the tracking number only said when it was posted and delivered.

1257369 2012-02-09 06:21:00 Did they send you another or did the unintended recipient send it back? Might have caused delays.. Agent_24 (57)
1257370 2012-02-09 06:31:00 I use Alibaba a lot for stock for sons business and there tracking numbers never work and you have to judge your stock really well as most items take 3-4 weeks to arrive unless you pay really high shipping charges then you can usually get the same week gary67 (56)
