21478 2001-10-14 21:46:00 I use Word 2000. I recently updated my normal.dot template to reflect the changes in my place of work.

I can no longer access the style Headings 3 by using ALT-CTRL-3 (Headings 1 and Heading 2 still work using the relevant keyboard shortcuts).

How do I regain my shortcut?

Thanks.

21479 2001-10-15 01:45:00 You can assign (or in your case re-assign) a shortcut key with a style by clicking on Format, then Style. Select the stlye you wish to assign a shortcut and then click the modify button. A modify style window opens and then you can click a shortcut key button to assign a shortcut. Guest (0)

Didn't work; I opened normal.dot (and another doc file). Went to styles, modify, assign shortcut key; nothing happened when I entered the combination I wanted.

Thanks
