21370 2001-10-14 06:20:00 Hey there, I'm wanting to buy overseas, because I'm sick of the expensive options I have in New Zealand. From now on, I intend to buy overseas if I can, because I plan on a lot of small upgrades:
*CPU
*Motherboard
*Hard Drive

Can anyone please suggest some good online sites I can visit which you have either used, or know to be reliable and cheap.

21372 2001-10-14 07:17:00 Keep in mind our low exchange rate, freight and duties. That's if it actually arrives... Guest (0)
21373 2001-10-14 07:42:00 Hello Jim,
As a small business owner who builds and supplies custom built PC's, believe me when I say that you will be very hard pressed to match NZ prices anywhere else, some of the prices you see advertised look attractive at first glance, but by the time you add taxes, freight and the exchange rate you will find your better off buying here plus the fact you have an enforceable warranty.

21374 2001-10-14 07:47:00 Your obviously looking in the wrong places.

I can get 20gig Harddrives for $220 including gst. I find it hard to believe you can import one with freight tax and exchange rate cheaper than that.
How about a duron 850 for $150

If you can get these cheaper. Please let me know..
