| 21655 | 2001-10-16 22:19:00 | I have a dynalink v.90. I have windows xp installed and am now unable to dial out. I have tested the line and that is ok. Do I need new drivers and how do I get them as there is nothing on the dynalink site. | Guest (0) | ||
| 21656 | 2001-10-17 03:54:00 | What is the actual model of Dynalink modem??? I have xp running with the default xp drivers on an external dynalink without issue and have also used it with an internal pci with a conexant chip set without issue using xp drivers. You could try win 2k drivers from the dynalink website. XP does appear to detect most win modems and load them as a 'generic 56k modem' but they all appear to work when loaded as that. Is it detecting it under plug and play?? |

| 21658 | 2001-10-17 21:18:00 | Thanks your reply. The model is V1456vqe external Serial. This is showing in Control Panel as ASKEY 56K data fax voice modem plug n play. Should I try changing this to generic?? |
