I have a column in Excel which is text but has only lower case words in it, how do I alter the first letter of each word, in that column, in existing documents, to uppercase without changing other columns in the spreadsheet. |

Select all the cells you like to change, cut, paste into a word doc, then format, change case, sentence case. Select and paste back into excel. |

use the =PROPER function included with Excel. For example, =proper(A1) converts the contents of cell A1 to display with a Capital first letter and all other letters in lower case. |

Thank you for your answer, I will try to have someone show me how to do that. |
