21900 2001-10-19 02:14:00 Dear PC World,
I am using Windows 98 and have a standard mouse. When I got home last night, I found that whenever I try to access my desktop icons, they move from beneath the mouse cursor. I think someone in the fanily must have downloaded something which is doing this. I used Control Alt Delete to delete the currently running programs and can not find what is doing this. When I get home I am going to look in the regisytry in the windows run once options to see if it is there.
Has anyone heard of this program and know what it's name is?
kind regards
Marty

21901 2001-10-19 02:48:00 My son writes little programs like that all the time and leaves them on my computer. Usually cntrl alt del. gets rid of them, but when it doesn't, I grab him by the ear and drag him over to the computer and tell him to get rid of it.
You could try that.

21902 2001-10-19 03:50:00 Hi. You could try: Start, Run, type in 'msconfig', Ok, click on the Startup tab, and you should find the offender there - uncheck the tick box next to the program. Guest (0)
