22005 2001-10-19 21:52:00 Hi,
I use Windows 98. To make things easy for myself I use keyboard shortcuts (i.e. alt+ctrl+F8).
After uninstalling some software through Add/Remove, one of these shortcuts keeps looking for the deleted programme. Where does the O.S. keep a record of the shortcut settings?

22006 2001-10-19 22:49:00 It may be that your program created a .pif (program information file) that was not removed by the uninstall process. Check the Windows directory, or search for the file on your HD. When you find the file, rename it and check that everything else still works before deleting. Guest (0)
