| 21990 | 2001-10-19 21:25:00 | Hi, i have a win 95 and 98 machine both second edition. i'm just wondering how i can do a system restore using MS-DOS. what do i type in? i do not want to download third party software. thanks |

| 21993 | 2001-10-20 06:40:00 | Thanks, but i'm 100% sure there is something in dos just incase somebody deletes a system file and can't load windows just me before. i've seen it in posts before and even used it when i accidenly deleted my system file (one of them). | 21995 | 2001-10-21 02:57:00 | ... and for W95, there is the 'expand' programme which runs under dos, to pull files out of the *.CAB files. (Try expand /?) and find out how to get a listing of all the files in all the CAB files (redirect the command to a file ' > \W95files.txt ' so you can find what you need. |
