Is this happen because i've a CD Writer, because i've just install one before this happen. If so what can i do about it, because i really need to reformat my whole computer and set it back to original setting.

Thank you.

21954 2001-10-19 09:32:00 My guess is you've set your cdwriter to secondary master and the cdrom to slave.

So its trying to access the first cddrive which is the writer.

Try running the restore disk from your cd-writer.

21955 2001-10-22 01:10:00 I try running it from my cd writer drive but when it get to the stage the window is shutting down it doesn't goes any further it just stay on that screen. Normally when it comes to that screen the computer will restart itself and start doing the quick restore.

And another thing, is there a way that i can run the quick restore on my cd-rom drive?

Thank you for your time.
