1357019	2001-10-20 09:32:00	I have a digital camera that only has the option of saving into .bmp format which I then need to re-save into another format (usually .jpg by using the 'Infanview' program to do this conversion) What I want to do is to convert multiple files at the same time into (for example) .jpg or .tif as it is very tedious to have to convert each one individually. There are paid programs that can do this conversion (JSAC image robot) but I was wondering if anyone knows of a Free program anywhere? I am using windows ME. Thanks in advance.	Guest (0)

I had a feeling that there must be free programs around that could do this so I am grateful for your posting, Up to now I have had to re-convert up to 30 .bmp files after taking photos, which is a real hastle. 1357022	2001-10-20 10:21:00	...just ignore this response should i be wrong - but can't you do this in Irfan View (?) Place all the files you wish to convert inside a single folder, select that folder from the File tab, open it and then click 'Batch Conversion/Rename' on the File menu. Select 'Add All' on the Batch Conversion box to place them in the 'input files' then select your 'output format' from the extensive drop down menu. A number of other useful filing options are available there too. Cheers !!! e_	Guest (0)
