| 22014 | 2001-10-19 23:02:00 | Hi, Due to the nature of the event, Im having trouble registering the 'Microsoft Office 2000' Professional product. Im uncertain to explain why this has happened to me, whereas I haven't ecountered or experienced this since purchase of this product in 1999. I have a 'dual boot' operating system; Windows 98 and Windows 2000 professional. Since having Windows98 for the last 3 years, Ive had no probs. Windows 2000 on the otherhand in the last 5 months or so, no probs....this was because I was using FAT32 I decided earlier this morning to upgrade to my Windows 2000 to use a NTFS system and now I have this problem. Confused? Same here! Surely, this can't be because of a different file system implemented? At the moment, I tried reinstalling and so on to no avail? So i tried again with both systems; WIN98 and WIN200 using FAT32, yet again Im successful? Any ideas anyone Most appreciated. |

And installed office again on Win98 without probs... Yet again, Im still mystified why the product key wouldn't allow me to register successfully? As I have bought the product with all licences!!! Even the Microsoft Activation unit couldn't understand that too.... Cheers |
