I have the same motherboard but with a 200mmx.
When I first installed the new 128 single sided ram by replacing one of the 32m double sided chips the screen was blank. I took it out and reinstalled it and everything works fine. I am not sure if you can insert the ram upside down but, when I reinstalled it, I made sure it read 84 to 168 on the top like the other module. Now the IC's are on the bottom of the board. I did not have to alter the bios and when the computer opens up, it reads 168mb Ram. |
