22190 2001-10-21 23:19:00 I use Win 98SE Backup (originally Seagate's now Veritas) to backup my vital data to CD RW. I want to back up the 'job' (ie the set of data files I have selected, not the data files themselves) so that I do not have to go through the tedious process of file selection if (god forbid) I ever have to restore. In win 95 the jobs were saved as .set, but in Win 98 backup I cannot find them any where.
Any help appreciated.

22191 2001-10-22 21:27:00 Richard, I use EZ CD Creator, which shipped with one of my CD writers, and you can save your selections with that.
Not sure if it will remember to do the contents of a whole directory, after new files are added. Would be fine for your PABs and PSTs and other data files.
You could lose other functionality though, like scheduled backups.
Maybe this is the plan to get you to upgrade to the full version.....

Regards, Robo.

22192 2001-10-23 07:59:00 Thanks,
I don't have any problem saving the 'job' (ie the group of data files I want to backup) as such, but I want to include the backup set, as one of those data files. That way, if I restore, I will not have to go through the hard drive and select the files and folders again.
