22484 2001-10-24 09:34:00 what software do i need to open .pps files? Guest (0)
22485 2001-10-24 10:20:00 A pps file is MS Power Point format, but you dont actually need the full program, you can get a Power Point Presentation viewer from the Microsoft site. I cant remember the exact links but look for viewers at :
http://www.microsoft.com

There are other useful viewers there also for Word, Excel, etc.
{ There is a Bin Laden pps file going around the world at the moment Boeing.pps is that what you want it for? :-)

22487 2001-10-24 23:56:00 That's a Powerpoint show file which is a standalone presentation. It basically runs itself when you double-click it. Therefore you don't need any viewers or Powerpoint to run it, unless you want to edit it. Guest (0)
