When I select an icon from my desktop I get a error messagecannot find the fileC\Windows\Desktop\Name of URL etc then after about 10 seconds URL is found.Enquired from Netscape they said that in Windows system files the files commencing URL should have DDE un checked. There are 4 URL files with DDE checked I uncheck them and when I return they are automatically rechecked. I advised Netscape of this problem and they advise that it is a Windows problem and to contact microsoft. Can anyone tell me how to uncheck DDE in the offending files and make it stay unchecked. |
