| 22432 | 2001-10-24 01:09:00 | Every now and again when I try to connect to the internet I get the message 'Could not detect modem, it may be in use, turned off or not installed properly' This can happen after any number of successful connections during the day. Modem is an external KXT on a USB port. If I reboot everything is fine. When it doesn't work Norton says the 'blank DTR modem indicator' has failed the test. What!! Any suggestions gratefully accepted |

| 22433 | 2001-10-24 02:22:00 | I dont know what the problem is but try re-installing the drivers for the modem, this may fix the problem and/or check out the manufactures site for driver updates/patches. | Guest (0) | ||
