22489 2001-10-24 08:25:00 Hi

I find that good ole Google is pretty good at finding New Zealand results - I usually add 'NZ' to the phrase I am searching for.

I remember an article on Search engines a while back in a PC magazine (may have been PC World) where they searched for Kiwi phrases and identities. Google came out on top in all categories.

22490 2001-10-24 09:04:00 Hi
I find SearchNOW (www.searchnow.co.nz) to be a very good NZ search engine, and if it doesn't find something it searches Google automatically.

Happy Searching

22493 2001-10-25 22:12:00 IDG Communications (publisher of pcworld.co.nz, PressF1 and IDGNet, also own Searchnow.co.nz - it's NZ's biggest search engine with over 3.5 million NZ web pages indexed.

I think you'll find it is very fast and will give you great results even when compared to the likes of Google, although we also offer Google for international searches as part of our service. We like to think that the results you get from SearchNOW speak for themselves, especially when you compare them to other search engines, both NZ and international.

Happy Searching!!
