| 22671 | 2001-10-26 07:39:00 | Hi, I have a couple of cards and am wondering if I can connect up two computers at home as a network with them. They are P/N 142066-400 Rev:02B and have a telephone plug and three lights marked LK, Rx, Tx.I searched the internet and think they are Accton EN166x adapter cards(I think)They have a MPX2 chip. I downloaded a driver and pluged one in but it locked up my computer. Thanks |

They come in various lengths. Did you install the driver before the card? you should do it the other way around, that may have caused your lockup. Also tell us what operating system you are using. The lights on the card will tell you when you are linked up (lx) to another computer, transmitting (tx) and recieving (rx). LX is the one to get going, then you are on your way. |
