| 22932 | 2001-10-29 08:10:00 | I have formatted and reloaded win98se on a new hard drive. This was no problem when I try to load other programs such as ie5.01, msoffice etc I get part way through the process and get a error in VXD VMM (01) or error in VXD VCACHE (01). What is causing this please, as I have loaded win98se on several machines before without this problem. NOTE: I have tried two different copies of win98se. |

Place them in the following directory: C:\Windows\System\VM32 (presuming that 'C' is your main Drive). Reboot your system. Hope this solves your problem. Cheers !!! e_ |
