| 22920 | 2001-10-29 07:03:00 | Hi I have picked up a secondhand cd writer - HP9100 - but no installation software. It is running ok on my pc (reading)but I obviously need software so that I can format the discs before writing to them. Can anyone suggest a decent freeware program for formatting the disc? thanks Andrew |

I managed to get hold of the Adaptec Easy CD Creator program CD, which seems to take care of the formatting/preparing the disc for use and I can drag and drop files to and from the CD :-) HOWEVER when I go to make an audio cd from MP3's using MusicMatch it tells me that I haven't inserted a blank CD ... any ideas? |
