22990 2001-10-29 21:04:00 Since downloading some McAfee antivirus s/w I get the following message when trying to connect to email/internet. 'The Lost 'pop3.paradise.net.nz' could not be found. Please verify that you have enterd the server name correctly. Account: 'pop3.paradise.net.nz, Server: POP3.paradise.net.nz', Protocol: POP3, Port 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error 11001, Error Number 0x800CCC0D'
I get the same error message regardless of whether I try to connect through paradise or xtra. I have spoken to xtra helpdesk and we have resinstalled my TCP/IP address and recreated my account, but no luck so far. I have also deleted the McAfee software.

22992 2001-10-29 22:17:00 I'm running windows 98.
When connecting to the internet I get all the right messages of dialling, dialling tone, verifying username and password, 2 pcs linked in the bottom right hand corner, status of connecting in the bottom right hand corner and then it hangs for a while, the pcs drop out, the status changes to error and the detailed error message appears.
