| 1258846 | 2012-02-12 23:32:00 | My kids would(immediately) deliberately try and instigate a laptop shooting if I showed them that as a warning. Either to call my bluff or to witness some destruction. |

"She's seen first-hand through this video the worst possible scenario that can happen . One post, made by her father, will probably follow him the rest of his life; just like those mean things she said on Facebook will stick with the people her words hurt for a long time to come . Once you put it out there, you can't take it back, so think carefully before you use the internet to broadcast your thoughts and feelings . " Whatever we think of shooting up a teen's laptop, there's a lesson for all of us in that . Reminds me of Omar Khyyam: The moving finger writes, and having writ moves on . Nor all thy piety nor all thy wit, can cancel half a line of it . I think both father and daughter are saddled with this one also for a long time to come . I hope both are capable of withstanding the inevitable pressures on them . |

| 1258851 | 2012-02-13 00:14:00 | It'll get more elaborate, crazy parents videoing themselves in their kid's bedrooms with pump action shotguns or blowing up the car they bought them. Eventually, some idiot will shoot himself by accident and the original bloke will get blamed for instigating copycats. Having said that, the thought of launching a Barbie or a Buzz Lightyear strapped to a firework does make me sort of yearn for my kids to be old enough for me to able to threaten it :) | Contented (15925) | ||
