| 1258131 | 2012-02-08 17:14:00 | B*gger, since we (some members of this glorious site) visited the PC-Welt site last year, I've been getting emails from them on a daily basis. Can't understand a word they say these days. Any of you speak passable German to advise where I should untick the box to stop emails? sarel |

Or try replying to the E-mail with a "I don't speak german please remove/ unsubscribe me from your mailing list" message, they may understand. |

Any of you speak passable German to advise where I should untick the box to stop emails? sarel Hi Sarel If you're talking about the likes of PC-Bild, scroll right to the bottom of the page where you should see something like the options shown in attachment "PC Welt Unsubscribe 1.jpg" Click on the blue option that says "Newsletter Abbestellen" (think of "abbestellen" as "abstain") That will take you to the next page - the English and German versions are shown in the next two attachments. So, just click on the "abstain button and there you go. The next page is basically asking you to give them feed back on why you want to unsubscribe. Damn!! - now I've unsubscribed myself!! As a matter of interest I use G-Mail and Google Chrome and subscribe to a couple of the newsletters. The newsletter turns up in German but after a while you get an inkling of what the subjects are about because a lot of the "technical" words are in English anyway. With Chrome when you click on a link it'll take you to the relevant page and then translate it. It doesn't always work first time but I've never had to retry more than twice. Most of the stuff is irrelevant to me - they do a lot of mobile associated connections, but overall I've had some good "finds" Good luck |

| 1258135 | 2012-02-09 06:33:00 | Thanks tuiruru. That worked. I searched their site before for the same. The funny thing is I had German at school but I never used it and today it's gooooooooooooooooone. Dugimodo - most of the emails are automatic and bounce back saying something like "don't answer to this email, coz nobody will read it and sieg heil" or something. LOL sarel |

Thanks for "Thanks" - not everybody does it, which is a pity, :illogical |
