| 1258785 | 2012-02-12 19:01:00 | Apples are going hard, having to toss a few because we have too many. Strawberries got covered in grass as did the rest of the garden. Gotta spend the next month getting on top of it. | The Error Guy (14052) | ||
| 1258786 | 2012-02-12 19:16:00 | There is too much grass in that second photo.:D It's pretty much all we have left. This is the back. passionfruit along back fence, thyme under it. Lemon tree back of bean garden. 2 plum trees there now too. Beans pretty much picked now, put some celery in, that's going well, and the omatoes of course.. Side fence by bean garden you can't see in the pics has capsicums. Front of bean garden you can't see by house is silverbeet, sage, chives, rocket, and a gooseberry. Other side of house has grapevine, basil, oregano, majoram, more silverbeet (weed that it is...)and had the peas. And 4 tea bushes. - As in cups of tea. I was going to put a zucchini in there, but you can't freeze them, they produce millions and there's only two of us so thought I'd stick to things I can keep up with or preserve. Side of house has orange tree and strawberries. |

We are coneverting the whole garden into food production and no chemicals used Wow!! More beans than us! That's kind of what we've done...convert to food. Ripped out most of the cactus and rubbish that was there before. We have used copper and neem oil. We get heaps of passion vine hoppers - not just on the passionfruit - because of next doors jasmine infestation....so I allowed husband to use neem, not anything worse. |
