| 1258468 | 2012-02-10 19:21:00 | Wow..and i mean wow exciting but also terrifying......... and as we get twins thru work they are just so much fun, and you can usually tell them apart, ones slightly bigger, different personality etc, theres always a slight difference...... Things i would suggest before they get here is...........rest the mummy lots.........twins are more tiring and uncomfortable by far then a single squirming in ya tummy...... be nice to the mummy she will need lots of attention, before during and after. Suggest you buy lots of spare clothes.......for the babe's, and they dont have to be the same, just 2 - 4 of small things like singlets, and little tops, trousers etcs, cos ya can never have too many, and dont buy them in super small sizes cos they do grow... You may like the sleep in the one cot idea, but you will eventually need two. and if mummy is determined to BF she can express and share the load so to speak, other wise, make bottles for the day and keep in the fridge so instint food, keeps the stress and noise to a minimum.... Theres lots and lots that could be helpful, but rest and cosset the mummy so all packages get to delivery date is the best......... is twins a family trait on either side? my extended family has 3 sets....... all B / G its a family genetic thing. :D |
