| 1471733 | 2020-09-07 22:57:00 | Email from Spark advising they are sending a free upgraded modem. I have little understanding of modems so am wondering what the difference will be from the B315. eg Will streaming TVNZ on Demand from my Galaxy A10 to TV be less stuttery. thanks | bellbird (6169) | ||

| 1471736 | 2020-09-09 05:23:00 | The new modem is connected. Just one question, should I connect to Lan1 or Lan2Wan? I googled but still none the wiser. | bellbird (6169) | ||

Its a 4G router , not sure why it would have a Wan port from website WAN/LAN port - Working as a LAN port when connected to a computer, switch, or other LAN device. - Working as a WAN port when connected to an Ethernet port on the wall. |

| 1471740 | 2020-09-10 04:04:00 | I've reconnected all my devices to the new modem. Computer, phone, printer, chromecast, sky on demand. Everything is ok except the LAN LED indicator blinks continuously even when all my devices are off. The Spark B618 user guide says this means that "data is being transmitted through a LAN port". I rang Spark for clarification and was told that it doesn't mean that data is being transferred. I'm a bit confused. My old modem LAN light did not blink when all my devices were off. | bellbird (6169) | ||

Dont worry about it, if it annoys you unplug the cable ( bit drastic) You should see my 24 port switch in the workshop and router in the House - like a Christmas tree at night :D | wainuitech (129) | ||
