1466029 2020-01-16 03:21:00 I accidentally broke one pin on my LGA 1150 motherboard. I checked the manual and found it's SA_DQ38 which is one of the data bus pins.

SA_DQ[63:0] Data Bus: Channel A data signal interface to the SDRAM data bus. I/O DDR3/DDR3L

10157

Anyone know if it's still safe to run? I don't want to damage my CPU in the process.

1466031 2020-01-20 07:54:00 I'm guessing it won't work if you have any RAM installed in a channel A slot. You will probably have to use other RAM channel(s) if you want the board to do anything other than beep at you with a RAM error code. Agent_24 (57)
