For instance My printer isn't on the network, never mind the net. Remember the entire internet is a public noticeboard and everything that passes though it. This post for instance. For instance My printer isn't on the network, never mind the net. but your printer drivers ARE on the network , via your PC. :p SOME printer drivers phone home with info about what & when youve been printing. This first happened(or first detected) many years ago, and was back then labled spyware & treated as no better than any other malware . Things have changed, its accepted as the norm now. Even TV's have been caught recording conversions and that info was sent off to 3rd parties |
