Everything now needs to be not trusted, including your software. Just visiting a malicious website that can exploit your machine is all that someone needs to do to be infected. Now malicious sites can be anything, Ads were the biggest culprits for most sites that could harm. Always keep software up to date and always have software that can help prevent these problems, antivirus, antimalware etc. Keep regular back ups and implement safe practises. |
