| 23244 | 2001-10-31 10:46:00 | Getting fault to say it is shutting down, send error report and have also run Repair Tool but still get fault at times during each day. Cannot get the option to delete as it is greyed out (ie5.5 had this option)is there any way to delete Ie6 so I can reinstall it or can you just run Install again.? ANY ONE HELP.? Thank you |

However, i would add a word of *caution* regarding this tool as it will delete, disable or remove a number of functions from Windows - which less experienced users might not be able to recover without assistance. As an alternative, if you wish to delete IE6 and do a fresh install (which might be a good idea) the following Microsoft Knowledge Base Article will assist: support.microsoft.com Best wishes.
