| 23228 | 2001-10-31 10:06:00 | Recently started a new job. The computer defaults to sorting files in Windows Explorer, Open Boxes, Save Boxes etc by Date rather than by file name (VERY irritating!) The boss says it's been like it for a while since he installed an (unspecified) program. Resorting only solves it temporarily. Any ideas? | Guest (0) | ||

| 23232 | 2001-10-31 20:22:00 | It also saves a lot of time if you set up one folder how you want it, then go to View/Folder Options/View and click Like Current Folder. Close explorer and open it again, and every folder has the same settings. |
