23161 2001-10-30 23:38:00 I've tried to load Tweak several times over the last few months from the PCWorld cd, but it wil never run!
It unzips OK but then nothing.
When asked if I want to load it to Control Panel it can't find 'TweakU.CNT, although it's in the same directory, if that is the file it needs. There is also reference to the WIN 98 cd but there are no Tweak files on my Win98 (upgrade) cd.
What is missing from the PCWorld cd that I need?
Or what am I doing wrong?

23162 2001-10-30 23:50:00 TweakUI is a funny one to install.

To install you have to go to the folder you've unzipped it to, and find a file called 'tweakui.inf' and RIGHT-click on it, and select 'Install' from the menu. This will install TweakUI to the control panel.

Hope this works :)

23163 2001-10-31 00:37:00 You can also install it by dbl clicking the exe file, it then asks for your win98 cd because it thinks it is installing the files off that.

You can get around this by instead browsing to the folder you unzipped the files to, then it will install and you will have a tweakui icon in your control panel.
