I have a PC running windows ME. I have just recieved have an application that requires an NT environment, as well as an NT install disk. Is it possible to install NT alongside ME or will this cause problems ?? |

Even though I read that to install me/nt you NEED a separate partition I am running windowsME & Win2k on the same drive without a partition with no problems at all. |

Don't leap into this. NT is a somewhat more secure system than the others: it tends to do nasty things to other OSes and take over the whole boot operation so you can't easily go back to WinMe and its applications. Wait for one of the NT experts to answer. |

It is possible but C: partition on your disc must be FAT16 formatted for this to work.
I would suggest not to bother if you need it for 1 program only. |
