| 23385 | 2001-11-02 08:00:00 | Hi I recently purchased this scanner and installed the software on my PIII 766..But when I preview scan it throws up an execption error and crashs however if I just scan It works fine.. This has benn bugging me for ages any Ideas.. Im running ME and got 256megs of Ram and a 20 gig Hard drive thats 60% free. Ive spoken to the dealer and they told me to ring Canon who weren't any help.. Regards Natasha |

| 23386 | 2001-11-02 09:37:00 | All I can suggest is that you try to download the latest drivers from the Canon site and see if that helps. Even if it doesn't, chances are the support people will ask you to do that. Otherwise, maybe try a different scanning program that uses the driver? I'm guessing on that,but it worked with a TWAIN style scanner for me once a while back when it wouldn't work at all with the supplied software (which was crap anyway). Regards, Robo. |

| 23387 | 2001-11-02 12:40:00 | On behalf of Canon please accept my aplogise on there feedback....This is a Known issue between Canon and Philips 107 monitors ICM profiles...The fix is as follows. In your control panel under scanners and cameras. Click properties.Click preferences and unclick 'canon gear color matching'. This will solve your problem. ==Orac== |
