| 23374 | 2001-11-02 00:04:00 | I am running Win98 SE with 2 computers networked through a hub. I have recently installed a new sound card. Now on startup I get the warning --- 'Microsoft Networking The following error occured while loading protocol no 0. Error 59: A network error has occured' I have searched the Microsoft Knowledge Base for reference to this but with no luck! My network is working fine so there is no real problem except the nuisance of cancelling the error message during startup. Thanks for any help. David |

I would try disabling the ones you don't use and see what happens. I had a problem with my sound card the other day, for no good reason, I replaced the driver with the latest and it came right. You could give that a go for the sound card and the ethernet card, as well. Regards, Robo. |
