23462 2001-11-03 01:25:00 Hi,
Is there a program on the internet, that I can download to allow my to COMPLETELY erase all traces of certain programs I have on my hard drive....I would like to be able to completely remove half the rubbish I have downloaded, but want something a bit better than the 'add/remove' feature on my settings.....
Thanks ALAN W.

23463 2001-11-03 03:52:00 Go to CNet Downloads(or most other such sites) and pick up a copy of Sure Delete.

It should do the trick.

Nothing, however is totally removed, according to the experts (:-)

23466 2001-11-04 07:51:00 PGP will overwrite programs multiple times which pretty much kills the program for sure. Guest (0)

23468 2001-11-04 10:48:00 ... Lockergnome Windows Digest, Sunday 4/11/01:

'Total Uninstall' v2.0 [616k] W9x/2k/XP FREE

Get rid of it all:

'Installing new programs is a good way to spice
up your system, make it run better, make it more interesting, you
name it.'

'When you uninstall a program, however, it's not always
such a great thing. Very few applications will uninstall
completely, and more often than not, you're left with a few crumbs
in your system (not to mention your system's settings).'

'Total Uninstall does just what its name implies - it totally uninstalls.
Beyond that, it allows you to decide what changes are to be made.
Control is definitely good. Ya know, Total Uninstall is my
favorite Arnold Schwarzenegger flick, too.'

just thought to add this to the list, for what it's worth.

Cheers!!!
